Ever since I can remember, I’ve been writing things through in order to process my own life. It wasn’t until college that I began to realize I couldn’t last longer than a few days without writing something – otherwise, my life felt chaotic. It took longer still to learn the power in naming things, like transitions, feelings, questions, or why something felt “off”. Only in the last couple years have I learned that this is the deepest, truest version of myself that I can’t not do.

I write to make sense of it all.

To feel.

To heal.

And I believe words, in turn, have the ability to help others make sense of their own lives, what they feel, and aid in their own healing.

And that’s why I’m here. That’s why I share.

I write to release (for me), and relate (for you).

And as Rachel Marie Kang put it so beautifully, “All of writing is a welcome, a hospitable home with doors wide open.” Consider this space a haven, and you can come right in.

You can trust, too, that I will always write words that I mean. No BS. You’re free. So take a seat and grab a drink.

I’m happy you’re here.
